Came and Saw 03:22
I made a plan to take it when I came and saw Only way I’m getting spun’s when they play my song This one is for the villains that have came and gone Can’t forget the guys who also came along We started in the kitchen nah we wasn’t washing dishes, We was out here taking chances nah we wasn’t making wishes Posting with the gram but we wasn’t taking pictures Rolling out the dice but we wasn’t rolling sixes, yeah The last few years I’ve just been warming up I might fall back I’m never falling off The task ahead is high I think I’m tall enough It’s hard to call your bluff when you’re calling shots Tryna save my soul got me fighting with my demons Told my bredrins it ain’t over ‘til we’re packing out arenas Knew I had the drive when I was sliding round in dingers And your thoughts are always different when you’re hanging out with winners People said that it was love but they traded it for likes Got some bruddas in the cut know that they with me for life Had to drop some bruddas out cah they believed the hype Now they’re wandering in the dark, hope that they can see the light I made a plan to take it when I came and saw Only way I’m getting spun’s when they play my song This one is for the villains that have came and gone Can’t forget the guys who also came along This reminds me of the story when David beat Goliath No comment for my haters except that they need a life I ain’t never lived a lie, told her friend to meet the guys And the wave is coming fast take a look, you’ll see the tide yeah Welcome to the chapters of the Glory Days, Where the feds keep tryna slap man with a dodgy case Where the girl next door will make you do the most And the neighbour down the road got some funny ways Your story wasn’t adding when we did the maths One time for all the people who won’t skip a track The story of my life, go on give em facts We don’t turn the other cheek, nah we hit em back Weight that’s on my shoulders, getting difficult to carry Pray to God, He gives me strength to really keep up with this challenge Times I’ve had to ask myself if I’ll live up to this talent I was sitting in the trap hitting kitties up in Sharon’s

Slipped Up 02:48
Slipped up but I adjusted, years on the bunk bed Occupation hazard when you come up as a ruff neck Why I chose the path I did, you wouldn’t get the concept Focussing on me, I ain’t pennying the nonsense The words in my contents for peers out of consent This type of talk wasn’t geared for a concert Killing all these rappers and I fear for my conscience I don’t feel a thing coz these words here are Godsent No compromising Wrong move jumped out the bin and surprised him Man’s on colliding Real generals are at the front when they’re riding Show me who your men are, go ahead and dial him If you’re doing dirt and you came here as a migrant Know you’re getting dipped, if they bag you it’s a nightmare Stepping like a champion, trophies in my cabinet They was tryna lean on us, us man wasn’t having that I came through stylish, shirt was looking lavender Can’t tell me bout jail cah I rid a couple calendars My boy shot a fed man took his bird calm I got bruddas doing time tryna pattern up a Redband, Pattern up a D Cat, them jail cells are lonely, I swear my guys tapped done a move on his home leave I’ve seen man turn QE on their co D’s When you saw the gun sign, it’s deeper than emojis Pussio don’t know me, ask brats times that I rid out on a low key Riddled up a whole street If your money’s low, gyal are moving like they won’t beat Fam I’m telling you it’s so peak I prayed for my blessings Really was a outlaw like baby face Nelson, had a heavy K pressing Had to tell her don’t stress me Thinking bout the times that my stack was so empty I hustled so gently, prison tea bags cah there wasn’t no Tetley’s He came around late them man didn’t roll early Stepping like a champion, trophies in my cabinet They was tryna lean on us, us man wasn’t having that I came through stylish, shirt was looking lavender Can’t tell me bout jail cah I rid a couple calendars

Represents 02:57
Jailhouse, I was fixing my approach Gotta shout the big homie, no name but he’s a coach Told me when you get out of this place, go and represent A yute like you makes it, yeah it’s different what it represents This is the journal of a child soldier Couldn’t tell you how much times I really thought my life’s over Gotta tap into the spirits, I don’t write sober God really put a lot of weight on a man’s shoulder The burdens of a King Wanna challenge for the crown, gotta step into the ring I remember being young, shy, stepping to a ting But I never lost strength like I’m repping in the gym Kept believing in myself, that’s the secret to my growth When you’re happy, people hate. That’s the situ on the roads Feds were tryna make me break. I was sticking to the code And the blessings really came, now I’m fixed in my abode Jailhouse, I was fixing my approach Gotta shout the big homie, no name but he’s a coach Told me when you get out of this place, go and represent A yute like you makes it, yeah it’s different what it represents I studied the game Took my time and reviewed every bad decision I’ve made Like I could’ve kept it moving when they come for a raid But I thought it would be cool, they’ve jus come for a page Like the time I shouldn’t have gone to the dance, with this f-boy, I was tryna give him a chance But little did I know he harboured hate from the start Almost got himself killed, would’ve played on my heart Hold on wait, I meant play on my mind Ask around, I really moved a lot of weight on my line Running down my dreams, had to wait on my time I always knew that it would happen, they would hate on my shine

Me and them we ain’t alike and you can blatantly tell It didn’t happen overnight, I had to wait in a cell Doing laps like there’s no escaping this hell In a jail up north where screws are racist as well I had my own back, trojan living like a nomad Any means necessary, winning was the slogan Earners for the whole gang See the way I’m channelling these frequencies, they’re getting with the programme I know they wish I really fell from this stunt How can I, I’ve been living on the edge from the jump Signed my life to the streets, took a pledge on the spot And got nothing in return, jus a cell with a bunk I kept my head down, thinking bout my kids yeah I’m a let down What I wouldn’t give to hit the roads now and head round Take em to the park and watch em play on the swings Instead I’m here tryna fight another case on the wing, Reading the indictment with the brief on a legal Like I’m taking it to trial you should put in for acquittal Like how’s what they’re doing not illegal Like how they’re tryna handle man is evil But that’s how the ting goes, had to charge it to the game Nothing hardly was the same, got a heart that’s full of pain Then it all turned to blessings, all my targets never changed That’s why I walk around my house at times and put on all my chains Like I’m really self made in this ting, Certain people are just born with the fate to be kings, Got the haters big mad, yeah I’ll hate to be him How did God go a BAFTA is the place to begin That’s coz I’m God blessed, There always will be hurdles with a conquest When you set a target fam, you gotta trust the process Got it in my sights, all I gotta do is focus Glad I picked myself up times that I was feeling hopeless Pull up to the table, all the waiting is done And fix a plate for my kids, make a space they belong They was tryna turn me off, I was made to be on And the answers came quicker when I prayed with my mum I don’t ever hide and talk like you heard what I’m saying When you buck me up in person, yeah the energy’s staying The di crase for their head bros we nobi the same Man jus di chop life we ain’t starring again People love to start trouble then they run from the pain When you’re playing in the mud jus know it comes with stain All these blogs with their narratives, it comes with the fame First they love you, then they hate you, then they love you again It feels good to be the man of the house Up in Tape, me and bae had to stand on the couch For the times that the screws used to bang on my flap Before it’s all said and done I’ll put my clan on the map It’s Glory Days, the progression is real Turned my back on my old life like f how you feel Got a ona all in jewels when I step out to chill And my kids won’t go without when I set out this will.

about

“Glory Days Pt. 2 is a continuity of my journal. On Part 1 I spoke on my trials and tribulations and on this one I speak on the tools I used to make it through difficult moments. This is the part in the movie where the main character recovers from a tragedy and goes on to be triumphant in his endeavours.”
